Miller EPIC Post-N-Barrier System - M3300

Miller EPIC Post-N-Barrier System comes complete with a guardrail, toeboard, and steel mesh in one barrier design. This barrier system is engineered so that setup is quick and easy to install. This innovative design is for those working along a horizontal or sloping edge. Because of the steel mesh grid, this allows the workers to reach through without removing the barrier while also maintaining the required level of containment. Utilizing an overlap installation design, the Post-N-Barrier System eliminates "spacing" concerns and permits for a wide range of applications, including curves and corners. Barrier overlap is conveniently secured using a CombiStrap Connector. With precast socket, clamps, and anchored components for base attachment options, once installed, you can connect the barrier units without having to acess the edge for great safety. Individual barriers can be opened like gates by simply removing the CombiStrap Connector providing edge access or a loading entry. The barriers can then be closed and secured safely inside the protection of the barrier system. You can choose your choice of bases which are sold separately.

Safe Installation:

• Step 1: Hold barrier with post at far end, one barrier length from the edge. Lever the post up using the foot against the near end and place the post in the base attachment.
• Step 2: Swing the barrier away from you, towards the edge of the building to join the run of barriers.
• Step 3: Use CombiStrap Connector to secure the barriers together.

Base Options:

• Multi-Foot Base (M4290) $23.99/ea - Used for horizontal surface applications, most commonly at the slab edge or for stair applications. The three points of support allow accurate installation on an uneven surface and ensure that the anchor load is correctly controlled. The Multi-Foot Base can be through-fitted using a variety of anchors appropriate to the base material. Hole size diameter 0.71-in. (18 mm) for fastening base. Weight 3.31 lbs. (1.5 kg) 
• Cast-In Sleeve (M100359) $11.99/ea - For use in newly cast concrete. Insert sleeve and allow concrete to cure. Remove the cap and a barrier system can now be installed. Weight 0.09 lbs. (0.04 kg) 
• Spigot Base (M10960) $16.99/ea - Used for installing a Post-N-Barrier System in a Cast-In Sleeve application. The Spigot Base is attached and secured to the Post-N-Barrier with the Quiclox auto-locking mechanism. The Post-N-Barrier System can then be installed in the Cast-In Sleeve base that has been preset in the cured concrete. Weight 1.76 lbs. (0.8 kg)
