The Peerless Master Link 1/2-Inch is forged in the USA and has a working load of 7,400 pounds. The alloy steel has been proof tested per ASTM A952 with fixtures sized to prevent localized point loading. Also has angle indicators at 45 degrees from vertical. 

Meets ASTM A952 specification, based on a single leg at 90 degrees or a double leg sling at 60 degrees from horizontal.
