The Makita AVT reciprocating saw has a powerful 15 AMP motor with electronic speed control to help maintain a constant speed under load. With integrated Anti-Vibration Technology the counterbalance and clutch system creating fewer vibrations making the saw easier to use. The variable speed dial with six settings and an orbital cutting for faster cutting and better use speed for every task. The long stroke length helps tackle the largest projects. The unique clutch assembly helps protect the gears in the event of a blade binding. The tool free blade change and shoe adjustments. There are also 4-postions for orbital/straight cutting. The large 2-finger trigger with a lock-on button for added convenience. When paired with the right cutting blade it can easily tackle projects up to 10 inches or pipes up to 5-1/8 inches.
