The Makita 18V X2 LXT Brushless 1-1/8 Inch AVT Rotary Hammer is a cordless concrete solution that has been loaded with advanced engineering for maximum efficiency. Powered by two 18V LXT batteries (included) and efficient brushless motor for maximum power, speed, and run-time for corded demands, with cordless freedom. Reduced vibration thanks to Anti-Vibration Technology (AVT) that counterbalanced operational vibration, this vibration-absorbing back handle and side handle further reduces vibration. This results in a vibration rating of only 9m/s². The brushless motor delivers a full 2.3 foot-pounds of impact energy with 250-980 RPM and 0-5,000 BPM.

The torque limiting clutch is engineered to prevent gear damage with automatic disengagement gears in the event of binding. The constant speed control automatically added power to the motor to maintain speed under load to complete the most demanding jobs. These are all backed up by electric brake, variable speed ideal, built-in L.E.D. light, and retractable tool hook. The tool is also engineered with Extreme Protection Technology is engineered for improved dust and water resistance.
