This ground inspection well is designed to be used for inspecting electrical grounding systems on a site. The heavy duty steel lid is marked with "GROUND" and has a small finger lifting hole so the user can easily lift the steel lid without any special tools. The well itself has a corrugated exterior wall to ensure the well stays in place and a smooth interior wall. At 10in. in diameter, these ground inspection wells are perfect when used with chemical grounding rod systems. With both a horizontal or vertical chemical grounding rod, this ground test well allows for both your chemical rod and any ground leads attached to it to be easily accessible and visible in a moment's notice and has enough space to make additional connections if needed. The heavy duty steel lid is powder coated and the plastic well is HDPE, so this will last in any elements that your site may be exposed to.
The standard lengths are 12in, 24in, and 36in, to allow for both shallow and deep grounding electrode systems. We can also manufacture these with custom depths, so give us a call!
