The Greenlee V-Watch Personal Voltage Detector is designed for those who work around or could come in contact with AC voltages at 2,400 VAC or above. Designed to keep first responders, utility/line workers, and storm response crews safe. With a warning distance of 7 feet at 4kV, the detector is worn around the front of the body for an extra level of awareness. This device emits an audible beeping sound and visual lighting when you enter an area that has a high voltage hazard. As you get closer to an electrical hazard the alarm frequency increases to help you stay aware. With a rugged design and protective housing, this device can perform a self-test to ensure proper working when your life is on the line. Using three AAA batteries this device can be used for six continuous months and up to two years in storage.
