The GME x Petzl Solar Technician Fall Protection and Work Positioning Kit is for use during solar array installation when working on flat, low, and steep-angled rooftops. The ASAP LOCK mobile fall arrester moves freely along the RAY 11 lifeline without any manual intervention and follows the user in all his/her movements. In the event of a shock load or sudden acceleration, the fall arrester locks on the rope and stops the user, even if grabbed by the worker during a slide or fall. The integrated locking function allows the user to immobilize the device in order to reduce the potential fall distance. The connection arm makes the system drop-resistant. On steep rooftops, the GRILLON is used on a separate anchor point for work positioning. OSHA compliant & ANSI certified.
