The French Creek U-Res-Q Shock Absorbing Lanyard has an inline Res-Q ladder system to facilitate self-rescue. When a fall occurs you don't always think logically. That's why French Creek put their Res-Q ladder on a shock-absorbing lanyard. The force of the fall activates the shock absorber and deploys the ladder removing the human panic element. Once deployed the worker can grab hold of the ladder and catch their breath. This allows blood to flow and reduces the chance of suspension trauma. Once this is done the climber can get back on the tower and remove themself from the situation.
