I ordered these boots and I am very satisfied with how they feel. They was here speedily and are the most comfortable boots I have worn. They are exactly as described. Thank you for the quality and workmanship in these boots.
Purchased these boots after hearing good things about the quality of Oliver boots around the mill. So far (100 hours in them) I like the fit and comfort, they appear to be well-made, and I expect them to hold up better tham many of my recent purchases...
I bought a pair in January 2014. I work in a pulp mill that has very harsh conditions including exposure to peroxide, chlorine dioxide, caustic, and other harsh chemicals that are mixed with the pulp at various stages of the process. Humid to hot to freezing conditions are also common through the year so I needed a boot that was water proof and rubber at least 3" up because leather, unless you are constantly washing your feet, will break down after about six months. These were one of only two boots that meet my requirements. I have owned may boots over the years from almost every quality brand so I know what I'm talking about. Fore example the last pair I bought was R-wings "claimed" chemical resistant auto lace boots which lost the water proofing at 3 months and started separating from the heal at 9. R-wings $210 boots did not impress me and took forever to break in.OK now about these boots:
The zip lace is awesome and I would recommend lacing to the outside of the eyelets for a tighter fit. After you unzip you can literally walk right out of them.
The Kevlar stitching is a must and these are triple stitched.
Fast breaking time and had no sore spots after being on my feet a lot more than normal at work.
Good not overly aggressive tread.
They are easy to clean so you can wear them all day even after work.
