The sturdy handles are made of forged aluminum, and blade and screw-mounted anvil blade is made of high-quality hardened steel. Felco 12 Pruning Shears feature a wire cutting notch for cutting small wires, a sap groove that prevents the blade from sticking when cutting "sappy" wood, a micrometric adjustment system and shock absorption system.
