The Hults Bruk Hult Splitting Axe (formerly known as the Sarek) features a 3.5 lb. Swedish splitting-pattern head with an approximate 2.75” cutting edge, hand-forged from high-quality Swedish steel at the historic Hults Bruk forge. Engineered for maximum splitting power, the head combines a straight blade with small cheeks and a metal spine along the sides to reduce friction while enhancing wedging action – ideal for breaking apart large logs and firewood. The 30” straight American hickory handle provides excellent leverage and control for powerful, efficient swings. Crafted with enduring Swedish craftsmanship, this axe is built for heavy-duty splitting tasks. Its primary applications include splitting large logs, firewood, and clearing.
