The ISC REFLEX Mechanical Hitch (MH285) is a mid-line attachable mechanical hitch device designed for arborist climbing in MRT or SRT systems, offering precise friction control with a gradual release of friction. Its safety-lock swing-frame and L-shaped links allow the rope to be inserted and helically wound into the links (rather than threaded through), with a top-link latch to keep the rope captivated during use. Built for use on 11–13 mm EN1891 Type A rope, it provides consistent friction across the rope range without adjusting settings and supports a 200 kg rated rescue load.
Features:
- Mid-line attachable design lets you install/remove rope without pulling full rope length through the device
- Precise friction control with gradual release of friction
- Safety-lock swing-frame with L-shaped links for helical rope insertion
- Top-link latch keeps the rope securely captivated during use
- Consistent friction across the 11–13 mm rope range with no settings to adjust
- Removable and replaceable swivel-eye for quick disconnection and easy replacement when worn
- Swivel-eye accommodates two carabiners or up to two bridge ropes threaded directly through
- 200 kg rated rescue load for performing rescues without additional friction
