The Buckingham OX BLOCK® handline assembly serves a dual purpose, catering to both hurtman rescue and rigging needs. While the assembly is suitable for hurtman rescue, specific components like the handline hook and snap, with lower ratings, should not be used for human support. All rescue components must have a 5000 lbs rating, configured to accept human support. For rigging, ensure the weak link has a 4:1 safety factor.
