Online Safety Training Options

Coordinating training has been harder than ever in a world of travel restrictions, social distancing, and occupancy limitations. As the world has had to adapt in other aspects of normal day to day life, training companies like Safety LMS have also reworked their training to allow access to a wide range of courses. These can be taken either partially or entirely online to help you and your team stay up to date on certifications and training.

Our #1 Training Partner

There are a number of online training companies out there, but our tried and true partner is Safety LMS. They have over 30 online courses currently and that number will only go up. These courses range from introductory content for those new to their respective industries, to refresher training for those with years of experience.

These online courses are available in a couple different varieties. The self guided curriculum can be taken at your own pace and feature graphic slides with a professional voice over explaining the content of the visuals in more detail. Or, you can enroll in a virtual classroom training style course which actually puts you in a live classroom with an instructor. The great thing about this type of course is the instructor is there to actually provide answers in real time and dig into specific topics in more detail if required.

Toolbox Talks

Safety LMS is also rolling out a complete series of weekly toolbox talks. These quick web-based presentations cover a wide range of topics and industries and are designed to be a jumping off point for safety discussions and a consistent reminder of various safety topics for crews before they begin their work day.

In addition to the online training courses, and while things begin to return to some normalcy in May of 2021, in person courses are starting to fill up. Before work gets too busy during the summer, it’s time to reach out to your in house trainers or contact Safety LMS to schedule your recertifications!
