Safety LMS Authorized Climber/Rescuer Course

This is a two day course which includes one full day of classroom instruction and one day of practical instruction on the tower. The on-site instruction day will teach students basic climbing, rescue procedures, and equipment use. It is our philosophy that although new climbers cannot write a Rescue Plan, all climbers should be exposed to rescue procedures. 

Successful completion of this course is dependent upon passing the written exam and satisfactory demonstration of skills on the tower. The Authorized Climber certification is good for two years from the date of issue; the Authorized Rescuer certification is valid for one year from the date of issue and requires annual, documented rescue practice and evaluation.
