Great

This is by far the best tower Y lanyard you can possibly get. The rebar hooks are skinny where it meets the gate allowing the hook to go in and lock in bolt holes. Towers always have extra holes for future mods it goes where others are to big. Tie back is crucial when doing tower mods. While crossing from leg to leg your limited on hook points. The view pack instead of tree scrunchie style allows for the full 6 feet of motion. Your not struggling and pulling on it trying to reach something. Every time I've gotten a new harness i always get this lanyard. My opinion it's the over all best. I have one on my harness right now.

Overall quality and price make this equipment a great value! In health care there are several needs including servicing helipad equipment to mechanical room high work. My staff like the idea of having this equipment at hand across a large campus and the pricing make this possible.

Not pleased

They did fine for around a year now the pack on the back is tearing apart at the stiching and just got to the top of the tower to tie off and the spring for the auto lock snapped so now its a manual. Maybe cheap parts expensive name i dont know but that much money they better work longer than a year.

Good lanyard with a good price. Never have had a fall to test it fully but hooks work well one handed operation and elastic remains tight enough to keep them out of my way while climbing.

Great quality, horrible hooks

As with any lanyard from DBI Sala and at this price point, build quality and materials are top notch. Why only 2 stars then? The rebar hooks are EXTREMELY difficult to operate. The design is horrible. You can be sure these gates will never open accidentally, because it takes a minor miracle to get them open intentionally. There is a complex system of cams and slides in the gate that does a great job interlocking the gate to the hook.. But makes gate lock release not smooth at all (despite trying to lube it). The lock release is positioned in a way that makes it very awkward to operate. Pressure on the gate causes the gate lock release to lock up, so you basically have to squeeze the lock release without putting any pressure on the gate itself.
