Introducing the NEW P53D Omni-Block from Rock Exotica. This is a very strong, ultra-efficient double sheave pulley. And it’s the only double pulley in Rock Exotica’s Omni-Block lineup with a prusik minding feature.
All Omni-Blocks have an integrated swivel, which reduces the overall height of your rigging system, and allows the pulley to automatically align itself. Plus, you can install and remove the rope without detaching the pulley from the anchor.
The P53D has a Minimum Breaking Strength of 40 kN. This is much stronger than all other Omni-Blocks. It also has a Working Load Limit of 10 kN, making it the overall strongest offering from Rock Exotica.
Rock Exotica CNC machines their Omni-Blocks from a single block of aluminum. This makes them lighter and stronger than the competition. Everything they do with their designs is done to make your work easier, and safer.

There’s a long list of things that set the Omni Blocks apart from other pulleys. The swivel that Rock Exotica has incorporated into the design makes for an overall smaller rig. Since you won’t have to use a carabiner to connect the pulley to the anchor, you save valuable space in your kit. Plus, you’ll reduce your overall weight for every Omni Block you use.
Omni Blocks also open using a side gate. Unlike traditional blocks that you have to remove from the anchor, you can load the line without removing the hardware. Plus, the double latch, and skull and crossbones logo help ensure you’ve completely closed your Omni Block after loading. This allows you to focus on your work, and staying safe.
These Omni Blocks use high efficiency ball bearings. Brush off your physics notes… You won’t have to worry about doing tons of extra work to run rope through your rigging system with these pulleys. Since Rock Exotica has made them so efficient, you’ll hardly lose any energy going through the pulleys.
Rock Exotica also machines their pulleys from solid blocks of aluminum. This makes them very strong, and lightweight. As soon as you hold an Omni Block pulley in your hand, you’ll be able to tell how well they’re made. Think of the most well-constructed, best designed, most good-looking product you can think of. Omni Blocks are even better than that.
Omni Blocks come in a few different sizes and designs. Check out the videos below to learn more about each design.

Rock Exotica has been innovating “Gear for the Z Axis” for over 25 years. They started in a garage, but they’ve come a long way since then. But that doesn’t mean they’ve changed their ways. They still make all of their gear right here in the US. They’re based out of Utah, so they’re not far from a lot of the places their carabiners, pulleys, swivels, rigging plates, ect., are used.
Their Bolt Rigging plate uses a quick detachable stainless steel rod, or bolt, that allows quick connection for pulleys. No carabiners are required with this plate, so you can save room and weight in your rigging setup. Which is nice.
Plus, since there are no carabiners, you don’t run the risk of getting your pulleys, and your ropes, twisted. The Bolt is constructed from a single oversized piece of material, so it looks as great as it performs. The aluminum rig is only 19 ounces light, and has a maximum breaking strength of 36 kN.
The Kootenay was originally designed by Rock Exotica in the 80’s. Since then, it’s been imitated by many different companies. Made for passing knots, the sheave is 2.2 inches wide and has a maximum breaking strength of 39kN.
Setting it apart from other knot passing pulleys, the sheave can be locked down for high strength tie-off using the included pin, which is stored in the axel of the device when not in use. Once you wrap your rope around the sheave a few times, similar to a capstan, you can lower heavy loads with ease.

Many dynamometers are bulky, heavy, complicated, expensive, and well... ugly. The LC1 Enforcer from Rock Exotica makes things easy and looks good doing it.
It’s light. It weighs just 14 ounces, made of durable aluminum alloy and steel. Pair it with the optional waterproof case and it’s easy to transport and store. The LCD screen and simple interface makes the Enforcer easy to read and operate.
It’s strong. The device is rated to 36 kN, but will only measure up to 20 kN. If forces exceed 20 kN, the device will permanently ready “overloaded” on the display. At this point, the device is still good for testing, but shouldn’t be used in life safety events. It’s also recommended to back up the device to reduce the risk of any accidents.
It’s versatile. Forces can be measured in kN, kg, and lbf, in both slow and fast monitoring modes. The slow mode samples twice a second, where the fast mode measures 500 times per second. You can also turn on the “Max” mode to display the max value measured. This is great for measuring dynamic events.
It’s techy. To make reporting easy, the Enforcer also has integrated Bluetooth to pair with your iPhone. The Enforcer app is available in the Apple App Store. Use it to instantly monitor static forces, record dynamic events and graph and log all of the tests. The graph can be viewed on the iPhone, emailed as an attachment, or saved to the cloud using DropBox or Google Drive.
