The Details

The Skylotec Claw Vertical Fall Arrest Sleeve has been specially built to travel smoothly along a vertical system while providing fall arrest when needed. This unique solution is for permanently installed climbing protection systems and allows safe access when working at height. It has been engineered to fit 3/8 and 5/16 inch solid core wire rope and features an anti-gravity locking system. The Claw is a high-quality, lightweight, stainless steel device that has redundant safety features to reduce your risk of improper installation. Two hands are required to operate this device to prevent the unintentional opening of the sleeve.Â The skull symbol stamped into the devices indicates incorrect installation and the up arrow indicates proper installation.

Whatâ€™s Included?

The Skylotec Claw comes with a replaceable shock absorbing pack â€“ allowing the equipment to maintain a longer lifespan if routine equipment checks are passed. There is also a swivel carabiner which allows you freedom of movement and maximum ease of use.

How it Works & Industries

In the event of a slip or fall, the locking cam pivots downward instantly and the ClawÂ locks onto the cable. The built-in shock absorber pack reduces the impact force. The Claw is perfect for use when providing maintenance or other services in the wind energy, telecom, electrical utility, and/or oil & gas industries.
